Your recordings

Every affirmation you record is saved in SpeakTrue's own storage on your iPhone. Recordings are never uploaded to us and never sent to any third party. We cannot hear them, retrieve them or restore them.

Because they are stored only on your device, deleting the app deletes your recordings. If your iPhone is backed up through iCloud or to a computer, your recordings are included in that backup and are covered by Apple's privacy terms, not ours.

What we collect

Nothing. SpeakTrue has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or advertising software, and no tracking of any kind. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your contacts.

Permissions the app asks for

• Microphone — only so you can record an affirmation. Audio is written straight to your device and nowhere else.
• Notifications — only if you switch on the daily reminder. The reminder is scheduled on your iPhone and shows the text of one of your affirmations.

You can withdraw either permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app, under SpeakTrue.

Purchases

Unlocking unlimited recordings is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Your payment details go to Apple and are never seen by us. We receive only Apple's confirmation that a purchase was made.

Information Apple gives us

Apple provides developers with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics — things like how many people downloaded the app or made a purchase in a given country. These reports contain no information that identifies you, and whether Apple shares them at all depends on your own device settings. We have no way to connect any of it to a particular person.

Children

SpeakTrue is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since the app collects nothing, there is nothing for us to hold or to delete.

Changes to this policy

If SpeakTrue ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will also say so in the app's release notes.
